30th AUGUST 2008: It is with great disappointment Desert Venturer announces that our 3 day/2 night tours between Cairns - Alice Springs (DVCA) and Alice Springs - Cairns (DVAC) have ceased operation effective 30th August 2008.

Whilst this tour has achieved excellent passenger feedback, over the past 4 years there has been an escalation in the operational costs of this product, not to mention the current fuel crisis, which we have been unable to cover through price increases. The combination of these factors has rendered this tour no longer viable. We appreciate the support you have shown to this product.
